Fees and Payments
Our practice is based on the principles of healing, restoring, and improvement of communication to rebuild the lives of individuals and their families. We believe prevention and intervention are important factors in helping individuals and their families strive to be the best they can be. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that is welcoming, nurturing, and tailored to fit the needs for you, your spouse, your child and/or the family. As a result, we are committed to serving as a community partner to strengthen the individual, the couple, and/or the family as a whole. We strongly believe in quality care and at times insurance companies can limit our ability to stand strong on our principles. Our fees range from $80-$160 depending on the service you are seeking and the therapist who you want to see.
We currently accept the following insurances: Amerigroup, PeachState (Cenpatico), and WellCare. Insurance must be verified at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. If your insurance is not listed, but you would like to use your insurance and it is a PPO, we will provide you with a statement that can be used to request reimbursement. You are responsible for the full payment at the time of service.
Acceptable forms of payment are cash and all major credit cards. Clients should plan to bring the exact amount of cash, because change is not always available at the clinic. There is a $2.50 service charge for all credit card transactions under $20 or for those that need to be entered manually.
Out of respect for therapists’ time, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session (excluding illness and emergencies). MAC Family Center reserves the right to charge up to the full amount of the session for cancellations made on the same day as the appointment. Clients failing to show for their appointment without giving any notice (i.e., “no-shows”) will be charged the full amount of their session. If a client cancels on the same day as the appointment, or with less than 24 hours notice three separate times, or if a client no-shows twice, MAC Family Center reserves the right to terminate therapy services and refer the client to another provider. All fees are automatically charged to the credit card on file. All clients must have a valid credit card on file for this reason in order to be seen in our office.
