How do I schedule an appointment?
Click the Appointments button on the Welcome page or send a request through Contact Us for an email to be sent to our office. You can also call us at (770) 979-6000 to speak with our Admin. Unfortunately, we do not accept walk-ins or same-day appointments.
How long are sessions?
A session typically lasts 45-50 minutes. If it is your first visit to our office, please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to fill out the New Client Intake Packet. Please feel free to print and fill out the packet prior to your first appointment. We also encourage you to view our Orientation to Services.
How often are sessions scheduled?
Generally clients start off being seen on a weekly basis, however the treatment plan is a collaborate effort between the client and therapist and is determined within the first two sessions.
What are your fees?
The per session fee for children and adolescents is $80. Adults, ages 18 years and older, is $100 per session. Families are $120 and Couples are $160 per session. Group attendees are $50 for each group session. No sliding scale is offered and insurance is not being accepted at this time.
What method of payments do you accept?
Acceptable forms of payment are cash and all major credit cards. Clients should plan to bring the exact amount of cash, because change is not always available at the clinic. There is a $2.50 service charge for all credit card transactions under $20 or for those that need to be entered manually. Checks are NOT accepted.
Do you accept insurance?
We are currently NOT accepting any insurance. If you would like to use your insurance, we will provide you with a statement that can be used to request reimbursement from your insurance company. You are responsible for the full service fee at the time of service.
Do you have a sliding scale?
No sliding scale fees are available at this time.
What is your cancellation policy?
Out of respect for therapists’ time, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session (excluding illness and emergencies). MAC Family Center reserves the right to charge up to the full amount of the session for cancellations made on the same day as the appointment. Clients failing to show for their appointment without giving any notice (i.e., “no-shows”) will be charged the full amount of their session. If a client cancels on the same day as the appointment, or with less than 24 hours notice three separate times, or if a client no-shows twice, MAC Family Center reserves the right to terminate therapy services and refer the client to another provider.
