MAC Family Center was created as a small family-oriented private practice in 2010 by Ya'Ron and Stacee Brown. Ya'Ron and Stacee were dedicated to the making authentic connections in the community they served and had a vision to move Gwinnett communities and surrounding areas to a place of balance, empowerment, self-determination, and self-monitoring by enabling them to employ innovative strategies to produce desirable actions that lead to healthy results and lifestyle. MAC Family Center is designed to focus in on the founders' passions of social/therapeutic, educational, and community services. With the belief that therapy enhances the lives of individuals and families, MAC Family Center incorporates an array of psychotherapy approaches within their counseling arena to support the diverse needs of all.
Through seminars, therapeutic groups, individual, couples and family counseling, the center strives to raise public awareness as it relates to all issues within the community. Services are designed to strengthen and increase self-esteem, self-respect, self-concept, and self-awareness; promote a healthier lifestyle, and address issues relating to improving the quality of their lives. It is the goal of MAC Family Center to create opportunities for individuals, families and youths to reassemble their life’s puzzle and maximize their growth.
